Crystals: Dream and Stress

I am so excited to have finished my crystal healing course that I am going to share with you some of the crystals I use for dream recall and stress. First I’ll show you the first ones I started with.  After undergoing a lot of overwhelming emotions that kept building I started working with a meditation coach that gave me my first two crystals, rose quartz and amethyst (light purple). The rose quartz is used for self love and acceptance and is great for forgiveness, guilt and grief. Really focusing on these properties will naturally encourage you to treat yourself with more self care which is something I’m not so good at. The amethyst is good for calming your thoughts, nerves and great for meditation.  After I meditated with these stones and felt better walking in to work (which was one of my highest stresses at the time) I looked into a few others and purchased malachite (green) for dream interpretations and bringing calm and emotional balance, black tourmaline for grounding and protecting against negativity, and clear quartz for focusing the mind and is also known as the “master healer” as it amplifies energies in other crystals and has a general all around healing properties . These are great beginner crystals for those interested in adding them to your meditations or just testing out how they work for you 🤗 do you remember which crystal was your first💎 and was it a gift🎁 ?

Did you know you can use crystals to enhance your dreams, help you recall them and even promote more calming and soothing dreams. There are so many crystals out there that can help promote more restful sleep. Here are the ones that I personally own and have used. Red & yellow Jasper, green jade, and prehnite promote dreams and dream recall. Bloodstone stimulates dreams and lepidolite promotes peaceful sleep. Sodalite and Hematite are said to help with insomnia and mental restlessness. Amethyst and lithium quartz are known for helping understand dreams. They can be placed on your third eye when you wake up to facilitate remembering your dreams. Amethyst can also protect from nightmares. I usually place my smaller tumbled amethyst under my pillow after meditating with it before bed!

Crystals are an amazing tool for calming nerves, stress and worries. 😨 especially during the holidays! Everything has vibrations and with the crystals own natural frequencies, working with them can help with a variety of emotional and even physical issues. I have many books on different types of crystals and their properties so if there’s one that I haven’t mentioned and you’re curious about don’t hesitate to ask ☺ Here I’m showing some of my own collection of crystals that help me with stress and promote calming my mind from overwhelming thoughts. All these crystals are good for calming nerves with additional properties. Fuchsite and Malachite also provide emotional recovery and balance. Desert rose is a type of selenite that quiets worries, dissolves “problems” and brings mental ability, clarity and intuitive perception. Blue calcite is known as the calming stone which also encourages softness and fluidity, forgiveness, clears grudges and opens truthful communication. Labradorite helps with insecurity, anxiety and stress. Aventurine (the leaves of my bonsai tree) protects, calms and soothes emotions, aids in relaxation and prevents “energy vampires” from taking your energy. The stand of the tree is Amethyst which as mentioned before is great for dreams and nerves!! Which one is your favorite so far?

  1. Hello Meli, The Dreaming Yogi,

Thank you for sharing this, nice images by the way, I have been hoping to find someone like you with some knowledge and experience with things like this who might be able to share their opinion on something that it somewhat related to the topic of crystals et cetera.

What is your opinion of orgonite devices/jewelry/et cetera ( and do you think that they have any effect(s)/affect(s) beyond a placebo effect/response?

Here are two examples of orgonite:

    1. Hello John Jr! That’s a very interesting question. I have not personally worked with orgonite devices. I was briefly interested in them when I first started learning about crystals but decided not to get ahead of myself. To me they seem like crystals on steroids haha. With what I’ve learned about crystals and how they have personally affected me I could see these devices having more amplified effects since they use the crystals energy but adding the different components to activate them to their highest abilities. I’m not sure if you know other ways to use crystals on their own to amplify their properties but some use crystal grids and even place copper pyramids on top of the collection of crystals to enhance them so the orgonite, to me, seems to be going off of the same concept. Thank you for the comment and sparking my interest in them once more! That might be my next project. To see how orgonite with dream crystals enhance my dreams 🙂

      1. Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment and answer my questions and share that information Meli, The Dreaming Yogi.

Your “crystals on steroids” comment made me laugh 😀 , now about your copper comment, some people use copper coils in their orgonite to amplify and direct the energy I think so it does sound like similar concepts are being used so you are probably correct about that observation.

I am skeptical of all of this but I decided to buy that Muti Pendant S and Muti TB online over the holidays when there was a 50% off sale on the small pendants, and so I will at least give them a chance when they arrive in maybe a few weeks.

      2. Awesome John Jr! I’m happy to answer any other questions you may have. I understand being skeptical about these types of things. I didn’t understand it at first until I found a course about them but I’m glad you’re given it a try and at the very least they’re pretty 😊 let me know what you think of them! I’m considering getting one to see how they affect my dreams and I’ll post about it😆

      3. Thank you Meli, The Dreaming Yogi. 🙂

I am also curious about whether they will affect/effect my dreams or not.

I am curious about which of the Orgonise Africa pendants ( do you think has the best overall general purpose combination and value based on price and ingredients used et cetera based on your knowledge of various crystals/et cetera and their affects/effects when combined?

        Thank you,

      4. Hey John sorry it took me a bit to reply. I was looking at the link you sent and they have so many choices that seem to be more for specific goals. You mentioned general purpose though. The protection ones in my opinion would be more for overall protection against negative energy so that’s always good to have. Good crystals to start of with would be black tourmaline to keep you grounded and clear quartz also relieves negativity and amplifies positive energies. Amethyst combination would be good too. I didn’t see it on this link but one with crystals for each chakra (if you know about the energy centers) would be ideal, in my opinion, as it covers everything from good communication, heart matters, intuition and everything in between. I probably should’ve started with this though, when in doubt just find the one that appeals to you most before looking up what it does. Most times when I’ve gone with my instinct the meaning behind the crystals were something that I needed to work on if that makes sense. Maybe giving that a try to see for yourself 😊

      5. Thank you Meli, The Dreaming Yogi for taking the time to look at this and for replying. 🙂

I forgot to mention that you have to click on each one to see the ingredients lists (I think that they for got to list a few ingredients on some of those, like gold leaf, but I could be wrong) and extra details, but here is most of them (not all):

        Turquoise Pendant S
Quartz, Amethyst, Turquoise, Garnet, Chrysoprase (dust), SBB coil.
There is a large version of this pendant with one or two slight differences in ingredients.

        Muti Pendant S
Muti, Garnet, Amethyst, Black Tourmaline, Hematite, Quartz, SBB coil.
There is a large version of this pendant with two or more slight differences in ingredients.

        Sugilite Pendant S
Sugilite crumbs and powder, .9999 fine silver, Mica flakes, SBB coil in silver plated wire, Quartz crumbs, Amethyst crumbs.

        Lapis Pendant S
Lapis Lazuli crumbs and powder, Glimmer, Amethyst crumbs, Quartz crumbs, SBB coil of silvered copper wire.

Do you think that size matters with pendants?

        Thank you,
        -John Jr

      6. Hey John Jr I did see the ingredients list 😊 I personally don’t think size matters (this is for regular crystals) because its the vibration and properties they carry that differ between crystals. The highest frequency crystal I have is also one of the smallest in my collection. I feel the same goes for the pendants even though I haven’t personally tried them. I’ve learned that different shapes of crystals can focus the energy more directly like with points or clusters but size should not matter 😊 if you’re interested in learning more about crystals you should check out my course curriculum post under online courses. Especially if you’re skeptical about this but willing to try it out this will help you understand crystals more and form your own conclusions from there 😊

      7. Thank you Meli, The Dreaming Yogi. 🙂

Out of those pendants which three had the most general purpose ingredients list in your opinion from best to worst?

When it comes to crystals and things like that, about what is the average range of effect in general or do they have to make physical contact with your body?

I think those may be the last of my annoying questions. 😉

        Thank you,
        -John Jr

      8. I don’t see any of these in order from best to worst they just have different properties. My opinion would be these three: turquoise pendant, limitless and tree of life. Although I would recommend you pick the one that you found more appealing and then look at the properties to see if it had something to do with something you currently need in your life. They don’t have to make physical contact with you they can be in your pocket or, depending what they are for, in your room or house. No farther than that in my opinion. There are no annoying questions 😊 I’m happy to help!

      1. Thank you Meli The Dreaming Yogi.

Just looking at the images I do not like the sticker on the nuke buster or that name or some of the description about it, I do not like the colors for the pyramid and the design could be better, and so the look of the Muti TB wins for me (I actually bought this one and the Muti pendant small already a few weeks ago).

  2. That’s great that you went with your intuition on the pendants. The Muti TB seems to be the best one in my opinion since the crystals used combine a variety of different properties. Most focus on a specific task like the lapis lazuli for matters of communication, nuke buster protecting against radiation/EMF. The orgonite pyramid seems to me to be the most general since it only has clear quartz which is known as the master healer stone and the pyramid shape will amplify those properties. I’d say you made a good call on the muti I like that it has other components like the shells along with amethyst.

    1. Thank you Meli The Dreaming Yogi for answering that.

I decided to buy the medium pyramid ( because there is a sale ( so I got 27% off.

I also plan on probably buying a large no-frills pendant from Karen at her OrgoniseYourself shop on Etsy:
